Hello everyone! How are you? Today I’m going to do a review of the last brush pens that I’ve received: the Volcolor Dual Brush Pens. Here you will find some information about them and photos that I took while I was testing them.

Volcolor Dual Tip Brush Pens

  • Brand: Volcolor
  • Product: Dual Brush Pens
  • Set of 36 colours. You can’t purchase them individually
  • Price: US$13.99 on Amazon.com (link here)
  • Dual tips: brush tip and 0,4MM fine point tip
  • Water-based. You can blend them.

I think the tips of these pens are what makes them different from other brands. As most of them have two tips: a brush one and a bullet tip. Contrary to that, the second tip of Volcolor’s brush pens is a 0,4MM fine point one.

This fact surprises me, but I really like it. I think it’s more useful, as I always use fineliners, so now I don’t have to bring with me two different pens.

As you can see below, I show you how the normal tips of every brush pens are, and how the Volcolor ones are.

As I’ve told you at the beginning, there’re 36 unique colors. As you can’t purchase them individually, the set contains all these vibrant colors:

I’ve been really surprised by these pens and their quality-ratio price. If you want to start using brush pens, and you don’t want to spend much money on them, these will be the perfect ones.

I really like the variety of colours that they are, especially the warm ones: browns, oranges, yellows, they’re so beautiful. I upload below some pictures that I took while I was testing them.

Hope this will be useful for you!

  1. Me again!! I am trying to figure out which pens to get. I am deciding between the Arteza TwiMarkers and the Volcolor Brush Pens. I am a beginner when it comes to brush pens-I have never used them before and so I am just wondering which ones you recommend for me. 🙂 Let me know! Thanks.
